Workdays: 5 days per week/ Saturdays: 1st and 3rd working; 2nd and 4th off
Ahmedabad | Timings – 10 AM to 6:30 PM
About India Recycles:
India Recycles, an idea born out of eco-consciousness with principles of equity & access that works for poor & informal
workers residing in slums & promotes reusing & recycling through innovative sustainable model. We collect second-hand
items & resell them at subsidized prices through slum markets that are organized on weekends. This approach gives poor a
chance to buy essential goods at their doorstep with ease & dignity. With helping the poor, we also strive to create positive
impact on environment. By reusing & reselling items, we keep waste out of landfills & reduce carbon footprint of cities where
we work. Also, our brand "Revibe" empowers women from low income groups, who are our customers, to make designer
items from unsold stock.
Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and organized Design Coordinator to oversee the production, sales, and outreach efforts for the
Revibe brand. The Design Coordinator will work closely with women entrepreneurs from slums who create products from
waste fabrics, manage sales at exhibitions and cafes, and handle special orders for employee joining kits and Diwali gifts. The
ideal candidate will have a background in fashion or textile design and be passionate about sustainable fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end operations for the Revibe brand, including production,marketing, sales, and outreach
- Communicate with women entrepreneurs from slums to coordinate the production of Revibe products
- Oversee sales efforts at exhibitions, cafes, and other events
- Generate and manage special orders for employee joining kits and Diwali gifts
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies to promote Revibe products
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Provide creative input and guidance to the production team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in fashion design, textile design, or a related field
- Proven experience in fashion design, production, and sales
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for sustainable fashion and social impact
- Knowledge of local markets and trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- Working hours are 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, five days a week.
