About the role: 

The program head will be responsible for overseeing educational programs, resource creation, research, training, campaigns, and network-building initiatives focused on empowering women and girls. The role involves managing a team, developing strategies, and ensuring the effective implementation of programs.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Experience in program development and implementation

• Excellent communication and networking abilities

• Advocacy and campaign experience

• Knowledge of issues related to women's rights and gender equality

• Master's degree in Social Work, Women's Studies, Gender Studies, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering programs for adolescent girls and boys, with a strong gender-transformative approach.
• Understanding of adolescent psychology, development, and specific vulnerabilities faced by youth from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Ability to integrate a feminist and intersectional lens into program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Experience in participatory methodologies and community-based interventions with young people.
• Familiarity with child protection policies and safeguarding measures relevant to working with minors.
