Role Overview:

We’re looking for an Inventory Management & Accounting Associate who can take charge of our inventory systems and financial processes. This role is ideal for someone organized, numbers-savvy, and passionate about sustainability. You’ll work at the intersection of stock accuracy, accounting discipline, and legal compliance—supporting store operations and growth through sound financial and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records for all incoming and outgoing inventory (recycled clothes, accessories, supplies).
• Conduct routine physical stock audits at warehouses, stores, and donation centers.
• Implement loss-prevention and inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate stock movements with warehouse and retail teams.
• Use software tools to log inventory movements and generate reports.

Accounting & Finance

• Track and manage day-to-day financial transactions (expenses, payments, bank reconciliations).
• Prepare ledgers, cash flow reports, and other financial records.
• Assist in monthly/year-end financial closures and budgeting processes.
• Liaise with auditors and finance consultants for external reviews.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory filings.

Legal & Compliance

• Support ROC filings, ITR submissions, audits, and financial compliances related to Section 8 companies, LLPs, and Trusts.
• Work with a Chartered Accountant for timely submission and statutory accuracy.

Who You Are:

• A commerce/accounting graduate with a strong foundation in inventory and finance operations.
• Experienced in accounting and inventory software (Tally, Excel, or similar).
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving operational gaps.
• Passionate about sustainable business models and mission-driven organizations.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in retail, inventory, or social enterprises
• Proficiency in Excel, Tally, and digital inventory systems
• Strong documentation and compliance understanding
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines independently
