What You Will Do
This internship offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to gain in-depth exposure to the intersection of policy research, economic regulation, and business advocacy. The intern will work closely with the leadership team and contribute to high-impact engagements focused on sectors such as Manufacturing, MSMEs, Agritech, Tourism, Fintech, and ESG. This is a research and communication-driven, writing and outreach-intensive, and analytically rigorous role suited for individuals seeking experience at the confluence of private sector strategy and public governance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Policy Research and Analysis
Conduct thematic research on relevant government policies, schemes, and regulatory developments.
Analyse sector-specific policy trends and benchmark Indian frameworks against global best practices.
Produce sectoral reports, policy briefs, and issue notes based on both primary and secondary data.
2. Business Advocacy Strategy
Support the development of strategic advocacy notes for clients across sectors.
Assist in preparing stakeholder mapping documents for government, industry bodies, and multilaterals.
Draft internal and external briefing documents for business and policy dialogues.
3. Content Development and Writing
Prepare high-quality written material, including backgrounders, talking points, and white papers.
Contribute to knowledge products, thought leadership pieces, and presentations.
Edit and fact-check documents for consistency and accuracy.
4. Stakeholder Monitoring and Engagement Support
Monitor parliamentary updates, regulatory announcements, and sector-specific advisories.
Maintain updated databases of relevant stakeholders.
Assist in coordinating events, consultations, and strategic roundtables as amy be required.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Background:
Final-year student or recent graduate in Public Policy, Law, Economics, Business, or Political Science.
Demonstrated interest in the policy-business interface and India’s economic development landscape.
Essential Skills:
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
Command over Canva and data analysis tools
Ability to work independently and manage timelines efficiently.
